Background
I have assembled photos of a recent trip to Utrecht into the categories set out below and will be adding more commentary over the next while.
The Cathedral
The Cathedral, at least the Belltower, is to Utrecht what the Eifel Tower is to Paris. It is ubiquitous and dominates most of the city.
Bicycles
Most people travel by bike and there are parking spaces everywhere.
Canals & Green Spaces
Canals and green spaces give an air of tranquility
Streetscapes
Streetscapes and individual buildings vary from the old to the new and in between.
Shop fronts and windows
Shop fronts and the contents of the windows vary enormously.
University Campus
University premises are tasteful, often occupying old buildings.
Mixed
A bit of whatever you're having yourself.
